Flight Training Academy is a project owned by Emirates Group constructed for pilot training, ground school classrooms, and flight training & ground based Simulators. It is divided into two sections for airside facilities and landslide facilities.
The landside section includes: two academic buildings each comprising G+4 floors, 36 classrooms, auditorium and service block, six low-rise student accommodation buildings each comprising G+6 floors with 402 housing units, a mosque, recreational, and dining facilities.
The airside section includes: an area for aircraft maintenance hangars, an apron, aircraft parking bays, taxiways, engineering, shelter for emergency vehicles, a runway, and a satellite control tower.
